Therapy

We mainly specialise in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) and Attachment-informed EMDR. We also deliver Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

Trauma

If you have experienced one or many traumatic events in your life, like a physical or sexual assault, domestic violence, childhood sexual abuse or neglect, natural disasters, or terrorist attacks you might be affected with your activities of daily living. Post-stress traumatic disorder (PTSD) is a response to a traumatic event and affects people in many ways such as poor sleep and disturbing dreams, feeling haunted by memories, waiting for the worst to happen, panic attacks, avoidance of reminders of trauma, getting isolated or feeling numb or empty.

Anxiety & Depression

If you experience persistent worries or fears, deep sense of sadness, frequently feeling irritable or tearful, having trouble with concentration, motivation, fatigue, you might need help to manage anxiety. You also might need to develop a sense of purpose in life or maybe your are grieving the loss of a loved one, we need to explore your personal experience in-depth if you think that you are depressed.

Eating Disorders

Many people are familiar with anorexia or bulimia, but there are a wide range of eating disorders. Symptoms of an eating disorder include: an unhealthy fixation on food or body image, having strict rules around food, excessive under or overeating, having a fear of certain foods, not feeling in control over the amount you eat, or needing to be in full control.
